Hi,
There is any chance to insert a control like a text box
in a panel choosing the absolute position?
When I try to insert a label , the panel positions the
control on a locked position.
Thanks

I first add a grid layout panel control to a web form, then put a data
grid inside the panel. When I run the web form, the data grid is filled
up but it throws outside the panel control. The panel control does not
grow automatically to contain the entire data grid. How can I fix it?
Beside, if I put a panel control under a data grid, the panel control
still in its position no matter how many rows to be shown on the data
grid. I think it...

I have a control that simply displays a list of links. Following one of the
links doesn't post back or redirect to another page, it simply hides the
current panel and shows the one you selected... So the behavour is similar to
a tab control.
The user is expected to fill out required data on each of the panels before
pressing a submit button which is visible from all panels.
Problem I have is validating the data entered by the user. I...

Hi,
I have a panel on my form.
I want to detect when the user enters my panel with his mouse and when
he leaves my panel.
If the user hovers a control inside my panel, I get the mouseleave,
which is understandable.

Using .NET 1.1 Window Forms
I would like to place over 400 pictures on a panel control one after another
one so user can scroll through them, but each picture is up to 200 pixels in
height that's over 80,000 pixels in total, but panel control can go up to
only 32767 pixels. How can I allow a user to scroll through all of the 400
pictures?
Thanks

Hello,
I have a problem with getting an autoscrollbar to end up where I want it.
Things to know about the prob:
I have an imagebox inside of a Panel for (inheritance of) autoscroll capabilities. The imagebox is named panel2 for my own conventions and the panel will be named panel1
Panel2 (the imagebox) is set to fit to the size of Panel1 (the Panel). All of this works great...
I have broken up an extremely large image (width wise, not mem...

I'm a newbie to .NET from VB6.
I have a Form with a Panel control on it. When the Form loads it maximizes
and so does the Panel control. I then fill an array with the path to images
at a specific folder. At that point a timer fires every x seconds which
calls a routine that draws an image onto the Panel. This works great the
first time the code runs. But each subsquent timer event fails to load a new
image --it is always the same image...

This is a weird one. I have a page that has two Panels on it with BorderStyle set to double. In design mode everything looks as it should. When I start the page up or move it to a production server, the borders on the Panel do not show up unless you first minimize the browser and bring it back up or move a window over it/force the window to repaint. I thought maybe it was just my comp but i see it on any IE6 computer. Firefox and Safari paint...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
