The best course of action would be for you to try reading some documents on IEEE and other websites like http://en.wikipedia.or g/wiki/ZigBee. The experts and moderators on this forum are not very familiar with this technology.

Hi, I love Python! I've been using it for a couple of years now and have found it to be a highly productive language. I evangelize it to my developer friends and am probably responsible for the sale of at least 10 Alex Martelli books. I am now in the fortunate position of being able to use Python for a large project, and as such I have a question. We are developing a distributed application running on approximately six thousand...

Here at work we've been using MaxStream's Xbee product (ZigBee implementation). Now I have to re-work the code (our head software guy banded it out in like a day as a time crunch so it's seriously lacking). The problem is, I have not been able to understand the conversation flow for the XBEE API and was wondering if anyone was familiar with it? My scenario is this: I have multiple probes with the XBEE products, each with their 16bit MY...

I have one xbee module used as cordinator (host side). This side is connected to PC. And this cordinator needs to communicate to other end-devices. These end-devices are battery powered and not connected to any PC. Now, I want the end-devices to send their Identity (may be any text or MY address) on power up wirelessly to the host. This host should receive this information from end-devices and send back an ACK signal to end-devices. And...

hi... I am new to this forum and to Zigbee as well. I was thinking of implementing AMR using Zigbee. However, i am not very familiar with data hopping between the nodes. How is the data being accumulated throughout the nodes? If it operates this way, the packet length will increased as well. Can anyone guide me with this? Thanks

Hey guys, I was kind of hoping that someone could help me out with a project I am working on for school... We are desigining a robot that someone will approach, and the robot will ask the user if they would like to go to room A, B, or C. (keep in mind all the rooms are in a striagh hallway with no turns). We have decided to put Xbee modules at each room and an additional xbee module on the robot. In front of each room, we would like to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
