Hi !
I am new to Web Services. Therefore I ve set up a PHP Installation on Windows
(PHP 4.3.2 and Apache 1.3.29). I have tested PHP alone and then installed
PEAR. Now I am stuck there (Before that, I had many problems with the
PHP-dlls)
I've set up several SOAP Testscripts that I found on WebSites and in PHP-Books
to get a PHP Client and a PHP Server communicate over Web Services
(using PEAR::SOAP).

I have noticed something disturbing when retrieving datasets over a
relatively slow line (multiple T1). I am looking at about 25 seconds to
retrieve 500 rows via a php-odbc link. This same select from the cli is
for all intents practicaly instantaneous. After much research I discovered
that PHP by default uses a dynamic cursor type which can be quite a bit

I've implemented the code from MS at:

and am able to send data but it only works once. Nothing happens the second
time, not even an error.

Hi,
My application is a client/server in a LAN. I want to keep my programs
..py files on a central File Server serving all clients. The clients
should load those over the LAN every time they start the program since I
expect that they are rapidly changing and I dont want to update each
client seperatly.
On the clients there should only be python and the necessary libraries
and third party modules (sqlobject etc.) installed.

the question is:
If we click "<GO HREF='http://....../demo2.php' SendReferer='true'/>" in a WML page which from "http://....../demo1.php", the server would get the environment head variable "HTTP_REFERER" = "....../demo1.php".
But in WMLScript, if we use "URL.loadString('http://....../demo2.php')" or "WMLBrowser.go('http://....../demo2.php')" , the variable "HTTP_REFERER" in server would be NULL.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
