I have been trying to set the default text value of a TextArea element
for about a day now without any luck.
Similar to the code used to set the Text field below I would like to
use the returned (for lack of a better term) value in a TextArea
element ie. {TITLE}.
this works:
<input readonly="true" value="{TITLE}" name="titleedit"
size="50"
maxlength="255" class="detaileditentry">

The problem is that the label of submit button is always centered on the
button regardsless of 'text-align' property in CSS. Considering that I
can style everything else, this must be a bug, right?
Any suggestions how to fix the issue with Mozilla 1.4? How about other
versions of Mozilla? How about other browsers?

I want a user to be able to click on a given image (there will be more than
one image). Upon clicking a given image, characters specific to that image
will be inserted into a textbox which is actually a text area. If the

I've got a function, you can see it below, that is being called
onmouseup in the textarea on my main form. The idea is to find a
selection if possible and store that text in a global variable. I can't
get this to work in any browser on a Mac, though it works alright on a

This weekend I wanted to learn AJAX, so I set up a little toy page

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
