Epson ADK POS Sample Applications' Issues

I am using EPSON OPOS ADK Version2.50E SP6 UPOS 1.9, downloaded from www.epsonexpert.com ,

I am just running their sample programmes provided with their ADK. the issues are:

1: Should I get the actual physical printer to confirm that sample applications in VB are running correctly?

2: I have created the new device in POSPrinter as TM-T88III. (I dont have the actual physical printer at hand). Now when I ran the application. The program returned an error as ResultCode=106 after claiming the device (that means the device is already claimed by some object/process etc).

What should I do? and How can I get the exclusive access to that device?

NOTE: In addition to my above post.

The following error comes while doing CheckHealth of the newly created device i.e. POS Printer TM-T88III ...and the error is

Error occured in calling the checkhealth method

Claim(5000) = 106 (i.e. An illegal parameter or process, or unsupported function is specified.)

ResultCodeExtended=10016 (i.e. The Communication port is used by other application.)
