Hi everybody,
I am desperately trying to log into my account at godaddy.com with PHP
and Curl and just cannot make it happen. Has anybody written a script
for this purpose?
Here is what I tried but the result is always the login page.

I'm (trying) to help a friend setup a MySQL db and use some simple
scripts on a site hosted with GoDaddy. I note that GoDaddy appears to
use Microsoft. I have done this:
$connection = mysql_connect("localhost","mydatabase","password")
or die ("Couldn't connect to server.");
$sql = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM dummy");
$row = mysql_fetch_array($sql);
echo $row;

I have a site hosted on GoDaddy's shared platorm.
I am trying to read XML from the yahoo RSS feed using the
HttpWebRequest.GetResponse method and am getting a "401 access denied"
exception.
I have seen posts here before that indicate GoDaddy needs to provide a proxy
to allow this to work properly. They claim this is not the case and want me
to open a trouble ticket with their advanced support (this could cost
money!).

Everyone on that post seems to say its to do with the cookie's, yet if
infact they had tried this script they would have found that even with

I don't know how to make a php script to work via cron...I want to make it run daily...My server API is CGI/Fast CGI.I have hosting from godaddy and in the help section i found that i have to specify the interpreter manually...look what it says:
i've tried with /web/cgi-bin/php "$HOME/html/path/to/my/script.php as command and it doesn't work.
if i run the script in browser it works...what should i introduce as a command..and do i have...

I have a website w/ Yahoo Web Hosting and unfortunately they do not
allow use of cron jobs. My site sends out automated personalized e-
mails on a regularly scheduled basis, currently via the method of
placing the e-mail PHP code on a page on the site and accessing it at
some point each day.
I would like to set it up as fully automated on the server, but how
can I do this without cron jobs? Are there alternatives? Seems like
SourceForge...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
