How to post a form and than close the window?

Hi,

in a small (popup) dialog, when user clicks on a button I would like to post
and submit the form and then close the window (like window.close();). How
can I do that? I need a solution for Internet Explorer and Mozilla.

The most reliable way of doing this that I have found was to set up the
receiving script on the server to send
<html><script>self.close<()</script></html>
back to the popup window. No javascript involved.

In any event, I need to be able to cause that MDI Child form to close. Just sticking...
