Javascript Confirm box needing scrollbar?

2 New Member
I have a need to display a confirmation box that allows for a scrollbar since the list of entries is large. You can't find the OK button, because of the too many items in the dialog. You can only hit <Enter> on the keybord to do the OK operation or click the X in the right top of the dialog to close the dialog.

I'm currently using:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. var agree = confirm("Are you sure you want to "+ action +" the following job definition groups?" + "\\n" + temp_display_names_str);
  2.
Here's what my large entry confirmation box looks like:

This may not be possible using the 'confirm' box but I wanted check if it is or see what is a better option?

Thanks

hi ...

you may use a div with the style overflow: auto; and set its innerHTML to your message ... so you may create your own custom message-window ...

kind regards

Thanks GITS for the reply and recommendation, I've decided to go with only displaying the first 25 entires and add a message to the confirmation box that because of the large number selected only the first 25 out of 'n' are being displayed. I took the easy way out but it works.

Thanks again.
