How to refresh a parent page from frame page

Hi all,

My requirement is...

Iam using jsp frames.In main.jsp, iframe is there.In that iframe , another jsp named frame.jsp is being called.In frame.jsp, one button is there which opens another jsp named action.jsp.In this action.jsp, iam performing the insert,update,delete operations of 2 fields which are also in main.jsp and frame.jsp. After performing the operations, that window (action.jsp) is closed and the values are updated in frame.jsp only.But they need to be updated in main.jsp also.After refreshing the main.jsp manually(mouse right click and refresh), then the values are being updated.

so main.jsp should be refreshed after closing the window action.jsp.

iam using the javascript code

parent.location.reload(true);

It is refreshing sometimes and sometimes not.....

can anyone look into this and give me ur suggestions how to solve this........

parent.location.reload() should work. If not, call from frame.jsp.
