actually i want to open a image file ,whie i run a html from server ...

in this html page user selects a image file then she wants to see the preview of that selected image file ...

how can i slove this ...

plz help me out =====================

So do you want an image preview for a file on the server or on the user's local disk? If it's on the local disk, you can find a solution which will not work in any browser except IE.
