Hello,
I am programming a site and am at the point where I need to start
building a library. Being a javascript n00b, but not a programming
n00b, I would like to find a book or reference that can help me with
library design considerations. Anything with examples of separating
behavior from content is key.
Go to
www.javascripttoolbox.com and
www.ajaxtoolbox.com and look at how
Matt has his Libraries put together. You may even find the Libraries you
are looking for. I would venture to say that you aren't going to find
any better libraries on the Web than Matt's for the simple fact that
Matts get critical review here (all libraries mentioned here do) but the
difference between Matt and the rest are that Matt responds to the
criticism and fixes the flaws. The other exception would have to be the
Yahoo! libraries.
