Major problem in input type=text onchange event

Hi,

I'm using Internet Explorer version 6.0.2900.2180 in my machine.

I'm currently have a onchange event on a text element. I want this
event to
be fired when there is a change in the value in the element. This works
fine
if the user tabs out of the field or clicks on any other areas in the
page.

But this onchange event is not called if I press ALT+TAB or simply if I

switch between the applications.

Is there any way to call the onchange event even if I switch between
the
applications?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

You could try to add an onBlur handler to it.
Don't count on it too much, your milage could vary depending on OS and
browser.
