include a file in another html page

Hi all,

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction here...

I've created a page which has a header on it, co information and some other
info and I want to include it in some of the webpages I generate. ( I
update our website each week with several hundred pages, a few hundred of
which need the same piece of information changing and so I want to simplify
the manual process if possible)

I'd like to be able to use the page with the info.. say infopage.html for
the changes. Then I want to embed some script in the pages which need this
info, so that it gets whatever I put in infopage.html and puts it on the
required pages.

That way I change one page and not several hundred.

Any help would really be appreciated.. any ideas?

Also, you could put

<!--#include virtual="path/infopage.html" -->

at the beginning of the page
you would have to do this once for every page that would contain this
info, but once it is on the pages, you will only have to change
infopage.html and the changes will be reflected on all pages that have
the <!--#include virtual="path/infopage.html" -->.

Is that what you are asking for?
