Hi all,

CAn anyone tell me where to get previous versions of internet explorer
(for ecxample version 3 or 4)? I need it to test my javascript code...

previous versions always be updated when you try to install another version?

My understanding is that you can run only one version of IE on a PC unlike
other browsers such as NS.

Personally , I'd ignore IE3 amd IE4; be aware of problems with IE 5.0 which
were fixed in IE 5.01.

Browser trends are important information. What you can read from the
statistics below is that Internet Explorer 6 is the dominating browser, XP
is the most popular operating system, and most users are using a display
with 800x600 pixels or more, with a color depth of at least 65K colors.

There are various websites with instructions for installing multiple copies
of IE. I followed the instructions at
http://www.quirksmode.org/browsers/multipleie.html

N.B. Not everything is independant when you do this but it is pretty close.
