Hello,
Can someone point me to some example code that shows how
to paint the text in a button control. I basically want to
reposition the text so it does not wrap.

Hi All,
I am trying to implement a dropdown-button control in C#
which provides a list of actions.
Many Microsoft applicaitons use this kind of control. One
example is in the V.S IDE's file open dialog box (goto
File -> Open -> File). The Open button has a dropdown
icon that gives two choices ('Open' and 'Open With').

Does anybody know how to control enter button on the web
form? It seems to if the user hits enter button at run
time then it fires submit button click event. I have also
noticed that if the page does not have a submit button
then the button that was first placed on the form at
design time is fired and I do not want that to happen. Is
there any way to control enter button behaviour?
Many thanks
Simon

Hello,
I have encountered a deep problem with accent and I don't understand why.
I m preparing a multi-language website. French and English so far.
With french, we have accents and ... problems ;-)
The internationalisation of my website works like that :
- I have created a resources file for a language (french for example) by
using Resgen Command.

I'd like to add the following attributes to the Login control's Login Button
to create a CSS rollover effect. How can I access the control's login button
from the page's code-behind?
LoginButton.Attributes.Add("onmouseover", "this.className =
'buttonsmallover'");
LoginButton.Attributes.Add("onmouseout", "this.className = 'buttonsmall'");

Hello all. I am trying to implement my first server control and have
run into two problems that I cannot solve. I need the assistance of
someone with more experience.
My goal was to create an input button that would allow for both text
and an image on it. I am attempting to accomplish this by basing off
of the asp:button control. I added a property for the image url and
one to determine if the image is displayed on the left or right...

Hi,
I been stuck on this for a week or more. So please help!
I have a menu were a user can click a button and a user control is
loaded into the page. A problem occurs when trying to load a user
control after an event from the CURRENT CHILD USER CONTROL. I put that
in caps because I need to make clear that the postback event is
happening from a child user control click button event. So, After the
Page Load happens on the current...

There is a C# CTI app I'm working on using Visual Studio 2005 at
revision level 8.0.50727-7600. I need a couple of Windows Form Button
controls to emulate line buttons on a telephone. So I went to create a
class file for the user control to subclass this out. Something basic
for a start, just initializing things. When I drag this custom control
from the Toolbox to my form then Visual Studio just abruptly exits
without warning.
So I...

I created an enhanced Button Control in ASP NET 2.0 to add a delete
confirmation message and to disable the button if the user does not have
access.
The new button control has a "ConfirmMessage" property where you can set the
message you want displayed and a "SecurityKey" property to set the security
key for the button.
The securitykey works fine. The button is disabled if the user should not
have access to it.
The problem I have is...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
