I'm new to ASP, but I've been programming in VB for
several years, and I'm having a few issues with this ASP
enhancement I'm working on. I've found ASP to be a lot
different than what I'm use to in VB.
I've created an ASP interface where a user can select an
email group that populates a listbox with those email
addresses. If a user sees an email in that list that they
do not want then they can remove it by clinking the Delete
button...

Hi,
I want to open a popup-window which displays a list to the user. From this
list, the user can select an item, and the data regarding this item is then
transferred to some fields on the main window (and the popup then closes).
But I am having several problems. I have an example "main.html" which opens
an example "lookup.html". In the actual application "lookup.html" is
generated dynamically be a server, and will have different lists...

Hello,
I am trying to open a window containing an image and I would like
the image to be flush against the window -- i.e. have no padding or
border. Can I make this happen with a single call to a window.open
function? I would prefer not to create a separate HTML page. So far
all I have is the basic
var cwin = window.open('images/KJV-THANKS.gif',
'Thanks', 'width=243,height=420,');
cwin.focus();

I have created a GUI window using Perl Win32::XMLBuilder. This window has several buttons on it, that when a button is clicked another Perl script will execute. When the script is complete, the GUI window is still open and another button can be clicked to execute another Perl script. However, after the first Perl script executes, when I go back to the GUI, the font on my labels goes all wackey and also when I click a button to run a second ...

Hello,
I have 2 problems. In my webpage, I have a dropdown list with a button that takes the user to a popup window specific to the option. I am using Firefox 2.0.0.13. I have successfully validated my HTML and CSS code.
1. When I clear cache and refresh my webpage, it takes 3 tries before the popup window displays - I click on the button once, a white window the size of my webpage displays. I close it and click on the button again (for...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
