In a page I have when the user left-clicks the page a Input box for a form gets the focus. But if the user right-clicks the page the Input box is not getting the focus. I'd like the Input box to get the focus no matter where on the page the user clicks be it right-click or left-click. Right now there is no context menu when the user right-clicks. Do you think that's the problem? Any ideas how to get this right-click left-click Input box...

Hi,
I have a form which has a few different submit links, all of type
image. This is critcal to the operation of the form, as it relies on
the image co-ords being passed to another page, the processing of which
is handled by someone else.
What I need to do though, is to have a text link which simulates one of
these image inputs being clicked, as some kind on onclick event.
However, I've hit a brick wall looking for example code of how...

I have an application that uses the Ax web browser object. When I call the
IHTMLElement.click() method on an input button (<input type="submit"> or
<input type="button">), the click fires appropriately, if I'm running it
from a windows forms based application.
However, when I run the EXACT same code under a windows service, either as a
logged in user or as the local system account, the click fails to process.
Clicking on other elements...

I need to programmatically invoke an asp:Button click event from a
javascript function. The page containing the script and the button is the
HTML page associated with a WebUserControl-derived object (both the HTML and
control are built in the same .ascx file)
The target button simply fires an event in the WebUserControl-derived
object. So, alternatively, if there was a mechanism to call a method
(explicitly or using an event of some...

I have message entry screen that's causing me a bit of an issue. At the
moment, there are 2 buttons, one is used to send message to another user
(btnSend) and another is used to send messages to all users (btnSendAll).
When user hits enter, I also simulate the effect of clicking button
(btnSend). However, what I found btnSend doesn't fire (unless I click on the
button).
The postback function I call is as follows:

Hi All,
I have an .net form that is split into two frames. The left frame has a
tree that displays a list of all the customers. The right frame displays
the appropriate clients information. When the save button is pressed on the
right frame, I want to update the tree in the left frame AFTER saving all
the data as the changes to the right frame may affect how the tree is
displayed. I tried using the following:

I have created a web control that can be rendered as either a linkbutton or a
button. It is a ConfirmButton control that allows a developer to force a user
to confirm if they intended to click it such as when they do a delete.
Everything is great. By and large it will be used in my repeater controls
using the command event when the user clicks on it and so that event is
working great.
My issue is the Click event. When the control is...

Hi, I have a input="type" control and two WebControls.Buttons that do
not respond to click events if I type into the file input box a network
path and file. I have a break set on the click event and it doesn't
even enter the code. If I use the browse button on the input file
control to select the file then the click events work.
What I am trying to accomplish is have the user select a file on the
network and then just take the value...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
