double posting is against our forum rules (you should really read them). If you need to bring up your previous post then make a reply there.

and we’re not giving out code (this is a place to learn).

what u want to do exactly?

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. for(index=5;index<=image.length;index--)
problem is here..
image.length is 5 , and you are decreasing index value..

it will go into infinite loop..

You are also starting a new countdown timer every iteration through your loop

Keep setInterval outside the function and use document.getEle mentById() in place of document.all.

Please comment on the new PEP for reverse iteration methods. Basically, the idea looks like this: for i in xrange(10).iter_backwards(): # 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 <do something with i> The HTML version is much more readable than the ReST version. See: http://www.python.org/peps/pep-0322.html

Based on your extensive feedback, PEP 322 has been completely revised. The response was strongly positive, but almost everyone preferred having a function instead of multiple object methods. The updated proposal is at: www.python.org/peps/pep-0322.html In a nutshell, it proposes a builtin function that greatly simplifies reverse iteration. The core concept is that clarity comes from specifying a sequence in a forward direction and...

me was sorry if this question are present before DotNet, no matter VB.Net or C# all they are compiled to IL, and yes, that IL will totally same as "open-sourse", every IL will easy to decompile and get the source nicety, although there have comeout with some "obfuscators" solution, but the structure still remain exactly same as the source after obfuscate. me unable to understand what the benefit will IL bring to me, is that benefit of...

Why can't Python have a reverse() function/method like Ruby? Python: x = 'a_string' # Reverse the string print x Ruby: x = 'a_string' # Reverse the string

Thanks for the additional comments. Here is a solution to an exercise I had problems with. I still don't think it's really what's wanted as it uses a "state variable" n - but I can't see how to do it without this (or changing the function to take an extra argument). Thanks for any hints. #include<stdio.h> #define SWAP(a,b) { char x; x=(a); (a)=(b); (b)=x; }

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
