Im at the end of chapter 3 of "Python Programming For The Absolute
Beginner, Michael Dawson " and he asks to make a fortune program that
displays a fortune each time its ran, and to have 5 unique fortunes.
Whats confusing is that, he never discussed how to do this. The only
thing he talked about was using random.randrange() and I tried that
with text but it seems like its only for integers as it complains when
I put text in the argument....

Hello,
I am sure this problem is easy to spot but I have been at this project all
day and the frustration has finally overcome me. I am using this function
in order to produce a standard normal distribution random number generator
and then using the function in another part of my program in order to use
the value. This function is called for many iterations. The problem is,
through each run I am getting the exact same number generated...

I'm using ToolTip.Show(x,y,..) to show my balloon-style tooltip at a
specified coordinate. Most of the time it works fine and the "tip" of
the balloon points exactly to my specified (x,y) coordinates.
But if the (x,y) coordinates are too far to the right, then the "tip"
of the balloon now points to some spurious coordinate that's unrelated
to my (x,y).
Why? How can I stop this? How can I make the balloon's tip point
exactly where I...

I am trying to set up an Image authorization where you type in the value
that is in a picture to log on to our site.
I found a program that is supposed to do it, but it doesn't seem to work.
It should put a blue and yellow box on the page with "This is a test" as
part of the picture. But what I get is a broken Gif.
The other problem is that I can't view the source???? The view source is
disabled for this page. What causes this?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
