Hi,
I have a text control on a form which is bound to table field StartDate
which is in Date format. When updating the table record via the form, any
data entered into the StartDate control is immediately validated. If the
data entered is considered valid, focus moves to the next control in the tab
sequence. So far, so good.

I setup some standard Required Field Validation controls and one Custom
validation control on an ASP.NET page (within a user control) to validate
text entry. I also setup a Summary Control to post all the messages to a
message box (ShowMessageBox=true). The required field validation error
messages show up in the summary just fine but I can't get the custom
validation message to show up if invalid.

I have a bunch of validators set up to run on the client. They are all
updating as expected on the client side. The summary is only updated when I
click a button. Is it possible to get the Validation Summary to update any
time a validator is updated? (focus changes, etc...)

Does anyone have an idea of how to set focus to the first control after summary validation occurs. After clicking on the summary validation message box, the focus should be set to the first control that causes an error.
I am using asp.net and javascripts.So I am trying to solve the problem with a javascript.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
