Bookmarklet problem with safari (windows version)

Hi,

I have bookmarklets with a # in their urls but safari changes the
# to %23. And unfortunately, the bookmarklet does not work with %23.
You need to change it back manually to #.

Any workarounds?

Amir

Are you using the new beta version of Safari just released for Windows
OS? If so, you might want to wait a while before you get too
concerned. There likely will be several changes in the final version.
I just came from alt.html, and people are reporting various problems
with this new beta release. If others are having your problem, then
someone needs to bring it to the attention of those working on this
new Safari version. I wonder if those having a final version of Safari
on a MAC have the same problem, or if this is just a bug for the new
Windows beta version. I do not have a Safari on a MAC, so I can not
test this for you.

If the Mac version of Safari (1.x and 2.x) are anything to go by,
then the bugs will probably remain. It's the worst browser ever
made. Mosaic 1.0 was better at handling DHTML that Safari is.

I've found examples of bookmarklets that select a URL from a page at random, but I'd like one that generates part of the URL at random. If you have a bunch of images that are named: mydomain.com/images/abcd.jpg where abcd is can be any combination of 4 lowercase letters - is there a way of having the bookmarklet generate the letters randomly when clicked? I'm able to do it using AppleScript & Safari but would like it to work from...

In pre-Windows XP Internet Explorer, adding a bookmarklet for a user was really simple. All I add to do was create a link that executed addFavorite(). Internet Explorer under Windows XP won't allow that due to its new security measures. How can I make adding a bookmarklet convenient for my Windows XP IE users without having them to do surgery on their security preferences?

Hi all I am very new to ASP.Net. I am trying to create a sniffer for our program. We want our users to click our sniffer and hopefully the sniffer will check their computer against our requirements. I would like to ask experts like you to see which items are actually doable with ASP.Net. Below I listed all of the items we are looking for but I can understand if some of the items are impossible to check/sniff. We would like to create a sniffer...

Hello, I am using the ASP.NET menu control and I have two issues when the page containing the menu is displayed in Safari on Mac OS X: 1) The menu is not dynamic. Why (it seems that Safari is treated as downlevel browser)? 2) I run into the "DynamicMenuStyle" bug (see http://weblogs.asp.net/dannychen/archive/2005/11/21/431121.aspx) Any ideas when this bug will be fixed?

Hi, I have a bookmarklet that works perfectly in Firefox, IE, Konqueror, and Opera, but in Safari 2.0.3 (417.9.2) it doesn't work. I enabled debugging and I can see "TypeError - Undefined value" reported in the Javascript console, but I'm not sure where the error is. The bookmarklet in question is here: javascript:if (parseInt(navigator.appVersion) >= 4) { if

Hi. I am trying to get some javascript to work in IE6, from the address line. It works in Firefox and, I believe, IE7. It appears that with some number of nested structures, the code does not execute. Take a level or two out and it works. The code below is nonsense, but illustrates the problem. This works: javascript: for( a=1;a<=10;a++ ) { for( b=1;b<=10;b++ ) { if( q<1000 )

Hi Guys, On a Windows PC it's easy enough to test how a webpage looks in Firefox, IE, and Opera, but what about Apple's Safari? Unless you have an Apple as well, which I do not. Is there some kind of test site that will show how a page looks rendered by Safari? If not -and I can't find one with my web search- how do you pros do it?

Hello, I'm using tiny MCE plugin on my oscommerce and it is inserting my website URL when I use insert image function in the emails. The goal is: Make it send the email with the URL http://mghospedagem.com/images/controlpanel.jpg instead of http://mghospedagem.comhttp://mghospedagem.com/images/controlpanel.jpg As u see, there's the website URL before the image URL.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
