sample code for Form Mailer without CDONTS

1 New Member
I need to modify a code in Java Script for a Form Mailer
page (asp), to be used for online newsletter subscriptions.
So long, CDONTS had been playing an important role
here, but since SMTP relay restrictions have been
implemented by my web hosting company to avoid any
ABUSE (phishing/spoofing etc. ) using their servers,
the code of my page needs to be changed (CDONTS
will no longer work). So, I need a sample code without using CDONTS
for my form mailer page. The above-mentioned form has 4 fields, two of which
are necessary fields. Also, Form Fields' Validation is
required. On submission, the form will go to a thank you page.

Don't see where Java comes in on this so I'll move it to javascript forum.

I am having a heck of a problem getting this script to email correctly. A form generates all the values, and the script sends off confirmation email- except I don't get any of the confirmation emails I don't get any errors either. I've tried multiple email addresse (in network, out of network, etc.) Here is the code: set objMail = Server.CreateObject("CDONTS.NewMail") objMail. To = "jesusfreaks18@hotmail.com" objMail. From =...

I have the following code in an ASP webpage where a member has logged in and wants to change his company information. Back in the innocent days of the last century, I would have used a mailto link in my web page to allow people to cancel me. In the era of mass harvesting of addresses by spammers and other criminals, that is no longer prudent. I'd like to write a small CGI that will mail a message without exposing my address to web spiders. The question is whether the code for the CGI can still be retrieved via HTTP. Any information would be appreciated. ...

Has anyone played with MS's SMTP sample, mailer.exe? I downloaded the sample, and ran it, but keep getting the error "Failure sending mail". Where might I look for more information? Maybe some troubleshooting tips? Thanks in advance, you folks have helped with some of my other projects, simply by answering someone else's question. Al G

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
