Java/HTML buttons and forms help

5 New Member
I used to know how to do this, but I lost alot of my old files on my old computer.

I'm trying to create a page that has different buttons on top (I know how to create the buttons), but then depending on which button is clicked, I want it to post text to a textarea. It would have to be a textarea because the text being posted is html code. I would appreciate any and all help. Thanks!

OK, here's what I'm trying to do.

I want to have clickable buttons, and depending on which button you press, it will post text in a text area. The text being posted will contain html code, so that's the reason for using a textarea. I've tried so many things!! If anyone's got a new idea for me to try, I would greatly appreciate it.

After many years of using LISP, I'm taking a class in Java and finding the two roughly comparable in some ways and very different in other ways. Each has a decent size library of useful utilities as a standard portable part of the core language, the LISP package, and the java.lang package, respectively. Both have big integers, although only LISP has rationals as far as I can tell. Because CL supports keyword arguments, it has a wider range...

I am no JavaScript progammer, and unfortunately am having to babysit an old code base that has a lot of JavaScript in it. I have two questions: (1) Can two HTML controls have the same name? It looks like the obvious answer is NO. (2) What if? What if the developer has given two HTML controls the same name, i.e has created the same button more than once with exactly the

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
