Does anyone know where I can find any information on any of these languages. I am interviewing for a very entry level position as a web designer. They would prefer that the right candidate have knowledge of HTML, XML, XSL, JSP, Javascript, SQL & ISS (Internet Information server) ... They also want the candidate to know Dreamweaver and some Flash. I know Frontpage.
Is there anyplace on the internet where I can take a crash course and gain some quick knowledge? Pay courses or free courses? A lot of what I know now is self taught from books I have read.
Are there any good books that I can learn from easily? Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can teach myself these languages and be able to get an entry leve position or better?
Any advice on books, classes/courses, or ways to learn own my own would be so much appreciated. I understand it all and I'm a quick learner. Very internet and computer savy.
Please help! :)

To learn the basics of each of those, go and run through the tutorials on http://w3schools.com/
Good luck. =]

Hello,

always very high level, this is giving me quite a ride. Here is my

Hi all,
I'm writing a small web application which searches a database based on
a date field, and populates a datagrid control with the results. The
datagrid control has selection buttons added to it to view additional
details about the selected result (a second database query is
triggered).
I want this second query to pop up in a new window, the way it would
if I used "window.open" in javascript. I've added a function in the

Hello all-
I have a question for you all.
I basically have a story or lesson, that is generated from an MS
Access database. The database contains columns for page (id) number,
text, an image url, and an audio file. I have a page called
Lesson.aspx that reads the current page in the database, loads the
text, image and plays the voice-over for that page. The user has the
option of going to the previous page, replay the current page,...

I'm trying to write a little utility that will write some
binary data to a file via a javascript and Windows Script Host
under Windows XP. The only way to do this that I can find
is to convert the binary data to text via String.fromCharCode()
function and then write to the file with TextStream.Write().
But that function gives an "invalid parameter" error message
when I try to write some ASCII codes to the file. I could
understand if...

I'm trying to build an app for Google Maps and just had some issues recently.
First off I just wanted to say that everything works fine in FF and IE. It's Chrome I'm having issues with.
I understand that Chrome is still somewhat in beta stages, so some bugs might occur. However this seems like something I might have done.
So...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
