Page security question....

1) Let's say I have an adult site that isn't porn. It discusses sexual
topics
of the day in a professional, adult manner to foster understanding of sex
and sexually transmitted diseases.

Let's further suppose that there are internet filters that are letting my
pages through, but stripping content because of an offending word here or
there.

Is there any way (perhaps using activex, flash, javascript or another
technology) for me to replace the text that they have removed when the page
is displayed in the end users' browsers?

2) I have seen products that claim to encrypt the source of your web pages.
How does this work, and is it easily defeated?

Still many parents would prefer their little children avoid reading
such materials (by occasional navigation). In the Internet it's done by
other means, JavaScript has nothing to do with it. Go to
<http://www.icra.organd get a relevant label. Many UA's has content
filters set and they simply will not let your page through if it is not
rated. A rated content doesn't mean that it is innocent: it can be
anything from medical education (your case) up to hard porno, just
choose the right category. If some customer decided do not view even
medical materials on the subject, it is not your business why did she
decide so and most definitely you should not try to hack through.

Let's say I want to filter the contents of a target web page, and present a simpler page on the screen. For example, let's say a target web page is full of links, text, images, forms, etc. and I want to present a simple page containing just the links. The original page is not "mine", that is, I can't just edit it in notepad and stick some javascript in it.

How do I create a link on a Web page on my hard drive that will run an executable file on my hard drive? For example, let's say I create runpoodle.htm and save it to my hard drive, and let's also say I have an executable file on the root of C named c:\poodle.exe. How can I create a link of some sort on runpoodle.htm that will run poodle.exe on c:\ ?

I want to know if it's possible to call, within my cgi page, using javascript, a remote url and get the result without changing my actual page. To say more, I have a page result appaired to the customer. And I want to call, during this, a remote server to send the result of the operation (ok/nok). I don't want to use 'window.open' because it can be blocked by the browser (pop-up).

I hope this is the right newsgoup for this question. I give it a try, I show my asp.net page in a frame from a page of another application. Everything works fine, but now (for security reasons) I want that my .net page can ONLY be viewed as a part of the main page. If the page is accessed directly I want to redirect

ok, I'm very new to ASP, but familiar with .NET via forms. My company has a fairly large JSP web site, and long term they want to convert it to ASP.net because of various reasons. Anyway, short term, they want to "transition" to ASP.net, which means make the main pages .aspx, somehow incorporate the jsp pages within the ASP pages, and begin gradually converting the jsp pages to ASP pages. So to start out with, there would be 25% ASP...

I can't make this script work properly. I've gone as far as I can with it and the rest is out of my ability. I can do some html editing but I'm lost in the Java world. The script at the bottom of the html page controls the form fields that are required. It doesn't function like it's supposed to and I can leave all the fields blank and it still submits the form. Also I can't get it to transfer the file in the upload section. The file name...

Using javascript, is there a way to trap an external page inside a frame? I've seen scripts to break out of frames, but nothing to keep a page trapped in a frame.

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
