Google Maps, Info windows with Tabs (json)

Hello,
I am a newbie to javascript, that is why I have this problem...
I would like to use tabbed info windows on my map. I works with a xml
file, like in this example: http://www.geocodezip.com/mapXmlTabs.asp
But now I would like to use a json file, this already works with normal
windows (not tabbed)
(like in this example:
http://www.econym.demon.co.uk/google...ples/map12.htm) but I do
not know how I can use tabbed windows with this file.
Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi Nicole,

As far as I can see JSON is not default google-maps API. IF you look at
the source of the page you can see its parsed to google API commands. In
other words, if you want to have your google maps example to support
tabs, you'll have to write that yourself. Its not that hard though,
you'll just have to find a way to encode the information in a simple way.

Good luck,
Vincent

Hi Folk Some of you may find this function useful. It makes it easier to create maps using Google Maps. I link it to a database of points. The main use of the function is that it creates all the javascript needed for Google maps to work. Any questions or comments? Please ask. Nicolaas

Google Trends is an all new service (started May 10) and I have not responsability for proper query or data accuracy. Overall seems pretty close to what could be observed by the post history in c.l.j. Just curious why exactly Japan got so exclusively hot on JSON ? <http://www.google.com/trends?q=AJAX+JavaScript&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all> <http://www.google.com/trends?q=JSON+JavaScript&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all>

Hello, I work for a non-profit in San Diego as a GIS Specialist. I have had to teach myself about some scripting to create some dynamic maps, but I am still very limited in my skills, so I have had to explore the internet in order to discover various tutorials and examples that have led me on a positive path. Right now I am working on a Google Mash-Up that will incorporate over 14,000 records, which will appear as separate markers that...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
