On mouse over display large image

Hi,
I'm new here and was just hoping that some of you experts could help
me!

I would like to create a photo page using 'rollovers' however am
finding it increasingly hard to find any information.
I would like it to display around 10 thumbnails all leading to one big
picture so when you hover over the image with the mouse it displays the
picture in big.
I have searched the net, however have only found info on 'rollovers'
for one image.

If anyone could help, I would be very grateful.

Regards,
asish

Hi

Check out http://www.ilvamericancars.co.uk/sale/sale.php

Although this is an on_click event, im sure it could be adapted to do
it with teh mouseover event (or any other you so choose).

This generates the thumbs (and large image) using the GD library and
php, however you could generate them yourselves. This was done like
this so the client could upload big pics from his digital camera, and
my scripts would resize them, compress them, and generate thumbnails.

Hope this can help, if you need assistance let me know

Cheers

Ian,

I like your sites, although the soft pastels don't really work for me on a
web design site. My concern is that your portfolio sites take forever to
load. Is that just because I am in the Colonies and you are located some
10K miles away? Other UK sites don't seem to take so long to download. I
see that you have validated your site and css files, so it must be something
going on with your server.

Otherwise - very nice work.

John

I'm creating an ad for eBay and want to keep the page condensed. I have 6 images - different views of an antique lap steel guitar - that need to show superb detail. I have cropped the images to take up a full webpage width. However, I don't want to put all six images on the page. I thought I could use icons as the trigger for displaying the images one by one. I cropped the six images down to small (but identifiable) icons. Is there...

Hi Gurus I have a little javascript that works perfectly in IE (for a change), but does not work in Firefox and Opera (no errors though)... You can see the script in action at www.tupelo.co.nz by moving your mouse over the little thumbnails below the big image. The script that makes it work is:

Hello, Please forgive my reposting of this note with hopefully a more relevant subject line. On an Access 2000 form under Windows 2000 I would like to use a Kodak Image Edit Control to display the contents of a TIFF image file. According to the very limited documentation that I have been able to locate so far, all I should need to do is to drop the Image Edit Control onto the form in design mode, set the control's Image property to...

I have a picturebox on my VB.NET form. The picturebox size mode is set to stretched. I then load an image into that form and display it. As the user moves the mouse over the form, I want to get and display (in the status bar) the image coordinates of the mouse location. However, if I use the picturebox's MouseMove event, I am getting the coordinates of the mouse over the PICTUREBOX, not the actual image underneath that (which is stretched)....

I have been developing an image gallery which needed to be dynamic as possible. so I have placed the gallery in a div plus a div containing the large image to be displayed. It works by changing the display property of the gallery div to 'none' and the largeImage div to 'block' which has an affect of switching pages but obviously saving time developing a single page for each large Image, but (cliche') when I refresh the page the with the...

Hi everyone. An image allows alt attribute. When mouse over images with alt attribute, a small yellow popup would appear besides the mouse cursor. How to replicate this behaviour using a table cell instead? Is this even possible? Thanks.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
