<iframe src="whatever.h tml"
onload="window. frames.iframe2. location.href =
'whatelse.html' ;"></iframe>

<iframe name="iframe2"> </iframe>

should do in IE 5.5 and later, Mozilla, Netscape 7 and later, Opera 8 I
think.

Hello, http://free.hostdepartment.com/j/javashop/this_works.htm http://free.hostdepartment.com/j/javashop/this_doesnot.htm Please take a look of the above two links. The two pages are almost identical. Each has a slide show, a image loading progress bar and a message scroller. The message scroller is done with an <iframe>.

I am aware of the setInterval and setTimeout functions for Javascript, but I can't seem to find an example that lets me do what I need to. I have a script that needs to wait until a certain condition is met. In this case, the condition is that an iframe has been reloaded completely. I do this by examining a hidden document variable in the iframe, and when it has changed from "" to "1" is the signal for me that the iframe is loaded. (if...

Hi, I am writing a page where user submits a request and waits for the response. Since the process takes quite some time on the server side, I would like to show a small animation immediately after user submitting the request. The animation will be terminated once the response is back from server. You can find the same trick on maps.yahoo.com. When you go to that site, it load a small wheels and says "Loading Yahoo Maps...". Can...

There is another javascript to resize...

IFrames have been used by years for people to accomplish many of the tasks the XMLHttpRequest does for them now...I unfortunately am late in the game and XMLHttpRequest was already out there by the time I got serious about using Javascript for more than just rollover images... I now would like to learn about the concept for the purposes of creating Ajax-like requests across domains. I felt like I had the basic concept down, but am...

Hello, I am working on an ASP .NET application in Visual Studio 2005 and running IE7. This application has a page that contains an iframe which loads an .aspx page and hyperlinks that load the iframe with different .aspx pages. The HTML/mark up for the .aspx pages executes every time, but the Page_Load events for the pages never run (on initial load or subsequent loads).

Do you know if it is possible to wait for the iframe page to load and then manipulate the iframe DOM. E.g. mypage: <script> function myinit() { theiframe.location = "iframe_with_frames.html" waitforiframe() { theiframe.frames.location ="mynewpage3.html";

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
