popup on exit question

My client wants me to make a popup on exit window with a discount
coupon. I have found how to do this if someone exits the site or
closes their browser window, but I can't find a way to prevent the
popup from coming up if someone clicks the refresh or back button on
their browser. Does anyone have a workaround for this problem?

Your client is an idiot.

Nah, you just think you have.

Stop using un-solicited popups, problem solved. Put a link on the page
to the coupon page. If people want it, they will go.
Does anyone have a workaround for this problem?

You can't open a popup on my computer when I leave the site.
Thats not a problem to be solved.

So where's the problem?

Hi! I have problems to set focus to a popup form, if it is not modal. If I set modal to true then that problem is solved, but then the main form closes together with the subform, wich in not acceptable. Is there a solution to this problem?? Sigurd

Hi to all, I am displaying a list of records in a subform which is embedded in a popup main form (in order to ensure that users close the form when leaving it). It seems to be impossible to delete a record in this subform. When I switched modal off and tried to delete a record from the list, I deleted a record on another form (below the popup form).

Apparently you can only do this with one value i.e Call MyAssetLocationZoom(Me!txtLocation, "Amend data") This runs; Public Sub MyAssetLocationZoom(ctl As Control, formName As String) On Error GoTo err_zoom strFormName = formName

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
