Is it possible to add a fading-in effect to the
start of a java program. So when the program is started,

Don't know if any of you chaps use www.basecamphq.com (a smart project
management tool) but when you post a message up the entire post is
highlighted in yellow, then fades until its disappears and you are left with
the normal black text on a white background.
It really is rather smart and I was wondering if something like that was
possible in Access. Probably not but it would be nice.

Hi all.
I have some forms that use the opacity property to fade in/out. I'd
like to do the same kind of thing with a richtextbox on one of my
forms. Doesn't look like opacity is exposed on the rtb control, so I
was wondering if anyone had done this before.
I'm looking for the effect of fading in at a specific point in the form
(when a timer ticks actually). I also don't mind some effect like the
size of the control starting smaller...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
