Nok
I have installed tomcat~
and I want to try to load the default page with my browser
I have tried to type C:\xxxx\startup.bat in command prompt and load
http://localhost:8080 but it said cannot find the server.

How do I startup the tomcat ??

$CATALINA_HOME/bin/startup.sh

where $CATALINA_HOME is your tomcat installation directory.

It may take a few seconds before localhost starts responding on 8080.
