Tomcat windows closes within seconds

Hi everybody,
Here is my problem:-
When I start tomcat the command prompt for tomcat openes but closes within seconds.
I've following environment varibles set:-
CATALINA_HOME C:\jakarta-tomcat-4.1.31
JAVA_HOME C:\j2sdk1.4.2

Path
%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\Sy stem32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\BINN;C:\J2SDK1.4.2\BIN;C:\Sun\AppS erver\bin

The weird thing is that on my computer tomcat starts properly but when I start tomcat on other computer with all the environment variables set It does start on that system but tomcat window closes within seconds
