Hi all, I have a form that contains a 2 column table. In the left column is the description for a particular input (ie - "First Name", "Last Name", "Phone Number", etc.). In the right column is the input element. The left column is right aligned and the right column is left aligned. I would like to replace this table with code that does not use a table for layout, and was hoping someone might be able to help me with the HTML and...

Hello, I have a small two-column table with three rows. The first column has a logo and the second column has the name of the organization. The logo's in the first column are too high. That is, they don't align horizontally with the organization name. I need to lower the logo's within the column. However, I don't know how to manipulate one column at a time. Everything I

Hi there, I'm trying to query a MySQL database (containing image data) and to output the results in a HTML table of 3 columns wide (and however many rows it takes) in order to create a basic thumbnail gallery. I can query and output the data as a single column table, but I'm having problems filling up a 3 column table (with different images, looping continuously until the end).

I am trying to add a nullable datetime column to a datatable fails. I am getting exception DataSet does not support System.Nullable<>. None of these works dtSearchFromData.Columns.Add( new DataColumn( "StartDate", typeof( DateTime? ) ) ); dtSearchFromData.Columns.Add( new DataColumn( "EndDate", typeof( System.Nullable<DateTime>) ) ); Any ideas?

Hey there, i tried this question in the mysql group, but have not heard anything. i have a database with about 20 tables. The some of these tables have datetime type columns in them. What i am basically wondering is if there is a way to make a default value of now() apply if it is not specified when the row is created. i know this is possible with a timestamp, but is it possible with a datetime column ? and if so, how ?

Hi all, I have a "connected" datagridview that uses a bindingsource/datatable to load the grid and update the user's modifications to the database. I have a column that is set in the database as varchar, but it is populated with values ranging from 1 to 49. It is not an option to change the column to integer in the database. When I sort the column by clicking on the column header it sorts alphabetically as expected (Ex. 1, 10, 11,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
