Read its API documentation. You can install a SerialPortEvent Listener that
receives a SerialPortEvent when data is available at the port.

kind regards,

Hi all, I am trying to make use Oracle9i db to call an external .Net Web Service from a JAva Stored Procedure. I created the .Net Web Service and use JDeveloper 9.0.3.4Build(1247) to create the Client Stub Java class(ie: serviceClientStub.java). When using xsl:call-template it seems that we can't use a parameter as the name of the template to call. Example : <xsl:template name="cadre"> <xsl:param name="p_contenu"/> <xsl:call-template name="{$p_contenu}"/> </xsl:template>

Hi I'm having some weird threading issues.. almost at random, if I dare change a line of my code, the shutdown sequence gets messed up. I'm using a thread to receive data from the network, that I suspend and resume whenver needed. In order to properly shut down the program every thread has to be aborted. So, I override OnClosing(CancelEventArgs e) in my main GUI program, and have it perform the following on the thread: if...

Hello; I'm having a problem with receiving data from serial port. There's an eventhandler(datareceived) and I'm monitoring the answer from the serial port to a text box in the eventhandler. There's no problem till here. But also I want to use the incoming data to process it in some functions. But when I assign the incoming string(from the ReadExisting() function) to a local variable there are always lots of characters missing. How do I solve...

Hello! I am new to network programming, and understand just basics. Using some sample code, and having read documentation, I managed to create a simple app in C# and VB.NET. The application is supposed to do the following: monitor ALL INCOMING TCP traffic on the local computer, and save certain parts of it as files - not log files though, but actual files that are sent to the computer as part of http or ftp. Basically if a user browse a page...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
