MIME text/xml via Java

1 New Member
I am having problems in displaying the xml text in the email screen, the mime type i have used is text/xml, JAVA is making it as an attachment instead of showing it inline, is there a way to get the text as inline. I have tried the text/html MIME and this works fine for HTMLs and even for XMLs however since text/xml is a valid MIME type, i wanted to know the reason why it is making it as an email attachment.

I am using the MimeBodyPart.se tDataHandler(Da taSource) function to set the type.

I have a question about how to parse out mime from a message. I have email messages that are stored in a database table and these messages have mime headers embedded within them. How can I parse out this mime content and retrieve only the text messages? Thank you, Erik

Hello, I'm tasked with creating a WSDL file that is compatible with .NET's code gen' tool, wsdl.exe. I'm getting an error in the code output saying "Missing soap:body input binding", which seems to indicate it can't find the <soap:body> element where it's looking for it. We are using the extension <mime:multipartRelated> to define some SOAP attachements in our interface, and the <soap:body> element is inside a subelement of that (per...

I have a Java code that I want to convert it to C-sharp in order to put it in my ASP.NET web application. I used the JLCA (Java Language Conversion Assistant) for conversion, but it gave me many errors indicating that there are not matches in .NET for those Java classes!! The Java code is: ***************************************************************** import java.util.Properties; import javax.mail.*;

I would like to parse an email, which I receive from a pop3 account. While the subject and the sender's email address are probably easy to determine, the body seems to be more difficult because of multi-part messages in MIME format. I am interested only in the plain text. Do you know an easy way to retrieve plain text of the body from an email message? Maybe a class, which can be constructed using the whole message string as a parameter...

hi, i have to develop a web service client (must be .net, currently i'm using c# with wse3) for a java service. the java service uses mime attachments for up- and download of files. i googled around for mime support in .net and only saw "don't do it" ;) (apparently even dime is not possibly in wse3?) so, is there any possibility to use mime attachments? Hi! I wrote a little function to send emails which works quite well. I already managed to send attachments correctly (also more than 1 per email) but I am not able to send a HTML mail containing a text only block for non-HTML clients. I will not post the PHP code as I think it is irrelevant, the error lies within the mail header and/or body, so here is the mail I do want to send: FROM: me <foo@bar.com>

Greetings all- I am trying to extract subject headers from emails that have been saved as text files. The subject headers are in MIME UTF-8 format, and so they appear like this: subject: =?utf-8?B?QVVUTyBQRU9QTEUgLS0gTWFuaGVpbeKAmXMgSmVmZiBCdW5jaCBpbiBIaWdoYmVhbXM7IExlZ2VuZGFyeSBSZWQgTWNDb21iczsgV2hv4oCZcyBTaGlmdGluZyBHZWFycz87IE1vcmU=?= What class can I use to decode the subject text?

Hi there, So here is the situation I'm in. My PHP script does something like this: 1. Update a DB (only once) 2. Send some post data to another PHP script (only once) 3. Output some stuff related to 1 and 2. I've done #2 by using input type="hidden" on a form, like so: print "<form action='../dir/register.php' method='post'

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
