This is a small table with hover on the table cells.
The first cell is setup to switch from div element to
input element by use of display:block/none. In IE, onclick
the input element is displayed correctly but it disappears if
another hover is triggered.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,Jonny

Hi Experts.
Please put the code sample below into an html document and take a look
at in NN6+. One span should be shown while the other is hidden.
Clicking the button should reverse this. However it doesn't.
Removing the table structure from around the text fixes it, but I need
the table structure (this is very simplified example).
Hope someone can provide an alternative?

Could anyone assist with the following problem?
I'm using JavaScript to hide/show table rows depending on the option
selected in radio buttons. The script works fine in IE but in Firefox
the hidden rows take up page space even though their content is not
visible.
I have extracted the necessary code as shown below:

1. click on table cells
2. edit in INPUT
3. click away, data presented in table cell.
2.0 The table cells have hover highlighting.

Hi,
I'm working on a Windows applicaton with VS 2003 on windows 2000. I have a
listbox that I have binded to a dataset table, "source" which has 3 columns.
I would like to display 2 of those columns, "scode" and "sname", as 1 column
(if not possible then 2 columns will be fine) in the listbox. Can the
listbox display 2 columns information from the dataset and how can I do that?
Also, I set the property of the listbox to selectionmode...

Hi
When toggling an element on and off by setting its display property via
DOM access, display:none is valid for all kinds of elements, but I can't
find anything about a generic value for toggling on again.
Furthermore, UAs do not recognize the same values. To make a table row
visible, IE wants display:block while FF wants display:table-row.
Am I missing something? I am looking for something like display:normal

I am a newbie. I am editing someone elses code to make it compatible
with Firefox and Safari.
In IE, when you click on the proper link, a block of text is shown in a
nice paragraph form. But, in FireFox and Safari it appears as a narrow
column of text with only 2-3 words per line.
Here is the code:
function showAll()

Hi,
I am trying to write a DNN module that has the ability to insert articles into an article repository. I want the users to be able to move pages around and enter text into the FCKEditor. I want only one instance of the FCKEditor on the screen at one time so I make tabs that the user can click and I store the values in variables behind the scenes. I change the CSS class on the link that is the currently selected one.
I have a really...

A MS-Access DB has 3 tables - Teacher, Class & TeacherClass. The

The TeacherClass table has 3 columns - TCID (AutoNumber), TeacherID &

taught by multiple teachers. The TeacherClass table basically...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
