connection of java and idl at eclipse

9 New Member
Good morning everybody...
I need help of some experts again:D...
Which plug-in provide connection of .java files and .idl files at eclipse?
There are interface(class declarations with methods) at ".idl" file and definitions at ".java" files.
At eclipse it can't see ".idl" interface so finds some class declaration errors. To handle this situation which plugin may I use ?..
thank you in advance for your help...

For the last two years, I've been using Eclipse as my Java IDE, and I'm very happy with it. I've just switched from Linux to Mac, and while Eclipse itself works even better, I have a problem with the source for the Java libraries. In Eclipse, one can get instant access to the JavaDoc for any class, whether it's part of the current project...

Hello. I am interested in learning about and using the Eclipse framework and Java -- both of which are new to me. I have prior programming experience with VB.NET and c#.NET; but not Java. I'm trying to debug a simple Java UDF written in the DB2General style within Eclipse. I'm getting a java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError when I execute the set() method in the UDF. I know that the UnsatisfiedLinkError has something to do with a DLL that is not visible but I'm not sure why I'm having the problem given that both db2java.zip and...

Hi, It seems to me that measuring productivity in a programming language must take into account available tools and libraries. Eclipse for example provides such an amazing IDE for java that it is no longer obvious to me that one would be much more productive in python for medium sized projects. Sure, all that Java static typing can be...

Yet another silly question, but this just might be the crucial one. In answer to another of my silly questions, Björn Höhrmann pointed me to http://home.ccil.org/~cowan/XML/tagsoup/, and as I read down the page I came across this paragraph: Warning: TagSoup will not build on Java 5.x or 6.x! Due to a bug in the versions of Xalan shipped...

I have a client in the healthcare industry who would prefer to store the connection string in a centralized location in their Active Directory repository. Has anybody done this? What has your experience been? Are there any stock components in ASP.NET or 3rd party that would make this easy? Thank you for the info.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. For...
