Hi,

Just visit this site : http://connectionstrin gs.com and look for the right mysql connection string. An ordinary connection string like what you're using locally will also work for web embeded database. In just one condition, you'll need to specify the url of your host in the connection string.....

Hope this helps,

Regards,
Jeff

OK, this is going to sound dumb to most but here goes. Please keep in mind, I am coming from a windows background. I want to do some development using PhP and animated gifs. I see that the patch can be applied to PhP 4.3.2 and 4.3.3 to enable imagegif and animate functions. I have come to the realization that I am going to have to run my own local linux server. My question then is what do I need to install a local server to host web...

After a lot of thought and research, and playing with FreeTDS and InlineTDS, as well as various ODBC connections, I have determined that the fastest and cheapest way to get up and going with PHP on Linux, connecting to MS SQL Server, unless it was already pre-installed by your Linux installation, is to build your own multithreaded TCP socket server on Windows and connect to it through the socket API in PHP on Linux (if you have installed...

I know it is possible to establish a connection to an SQL Server over the Internet via Enterprise Manager. My question is, how secure is this connection? Is there a best practices document for this type of connection? Here is my scenario: We are looking to outsource our web hosting. Currently, we upload client sensitive data to our SQL Server databases within our internal network. If we outsource, the SQL server will be on a different

I'm not sure if this is possible. I would like to have a PHP app on the Internet connect and write to a local database (Intranet). For example, users would go to a web site http://www.internet.com to run the app. The app requires an internet connection and is outside of the user's network. The app would have the option to either store data locally or on the Internet. I would like to give users the option to store data locally because...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
