Think 'the other way around' when a database changes it should notify objects
that are interested in those changes. Read the API documentation for the
Observer/Observable interfaces/classes and when you feel confident with
the idea read all about the PropertyChangeS upport utility class.

kind regards,

Do I need to send it to them? 2) I have a function to fill a table with values, that store the page and column numbers of a display of staff members. I...

Is there any way to know whether the OnItemCheck is being called in response to a user action (mouse or keyboard) as opposed to the form loading? The web uses Pages derived from a custom class I wrote (which itself derives from Page) to...

Hello Fellow New Group Folks, Here's today's problem. I was called in to help convert an Access 97 database to Access 2000. 99% of all my Access Dev. work has occurred in 2000, so I know very little about 97, however, from everything I read, it sounded like a conversion from 97 to 2000 should go smoothly. Boy was I wrong. Here's what...

(If I'm overlooking anything, please let me know.) First, my only concern is updating single records in a Detailsview using an ObjectDataSource. The target table has a timestamp field. Assume a single primary key. Create your xsd. Drag the table onto the xsd. Then manually edit the Update statement to simplify it. Essentially...
