Please help in installing Java...........

45 New Member
Can Anybody please help me in installing Java.
I installed JCreatorI in c:/program files/java and once I am trying to compile my java programs, I am getting this thing :

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Error : Invalid path, \bin\javac.exe -classpath "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_11\bin" -d "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_11\bin" "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_11\bin\Car.java"
  2.
  3. Process Completed.
  4.

I tried to execute it, I couldn't see the output. By using Notepad and Command prompt I see the output. Can anyone please tell me how to set this?

( For safe side the did saved my .java in the bin folder. )

Thanks in advance.

Your JCreator installation doesn't know the directory where javac can be found.
It assumes "\bin\javac.exe ". It isn't there. I assume that you have to set a
variable a la "JAVA_HOME" to the path (directory) where your JDK is stored.
Most likely that value will be "C:\Program Files\Java".

kind regards,

No I don't because I don't know JCreator. I do know that JCreator doesn't know
where your JDK is stored (javac, java, javaw etc.) You have to supply it a path
to your JDK somehow; check the documentation.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
