Ant FTP Task not working

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to run a ANT script(on Windows 2000, if that helps)
which does a FTP (optional task) to a Unix box, and I get a error
saying
BUILD FAILED
file:H://build.xml:11: Could not create task or type of type: ftp.

Ant could not find the task or a class this task relies upon.

This is common and has a number of causes; the usual
solutions are to read the manual pages then download and
install needed JAR files, or fix the build file:
I have all ant.jar, Optional.jar and NetComponents.j ar in the
Ant lib directory and also in the system CLASSPATH. I am not able to
understand what could be the problem. I saw that may people are facing
different problems but not at the inital stage like me here. I am sure
one of you out there will be able to help me out with this problem. I
tried this using both Ant 1.5.3 and also Ant 1.3 versions.

Thanks a load for your time.
Regards,
Chow.

I am getting the following error when trying to run or schedule a task. Please see below. There are more error explanations and I did not put all of them because I believe it to be one of the 1st few. Anyway, when I make a change in the task and click OK, the message pops up and I then hit Cancel but when I go directly back into the task, my change is there but the task will not run. I looked at the admin configuration and I notice that...

I'm using Visual Studio .NET 2003 (Visual Basic) and I can't seem to get my Task List to update automatically when I enter comment token: ' TODO: This is some stuff to do According to documentation this should automatically add to the Task List, but it doesn't?? I've checked under my Tools, Options, Environment, Task List and the TODO entry is there. But what I find odd is that at dialog I can NOT "Add" and comment tokens? I know...

I have a strange problem that I think deals with security on SQL 2005. I have a scheduled task that runs on a Windows 2000 machine. It calls a vb script which creates a connection to SQL Server. We migrated a database from SQL 2000 to 2005 which is on a different box. I changed the connection in the vb script to use the new sql server. The original connection to SQL 2000 used the 'sa' account coded into the connection string , which...

Hello, Sorry if this is not "exactly" a C topic but I thought this would be the best place to start. I need some guidance on working with bitmap images in ANSI C. I need to "read" in a bitmap image, then break it up into pieces (say 32x32) then take those pieces and "save" them, granted they do not need to be a readable image, then perform some other operations on the pieces, and then combine the manipulated pieces back into one image.

I have a very long IIf statement. I think maybe I've reached the limit of how many choices you can have in the control source "Build" statement of a text box on a form. Really, the IIF statement is very confusing looking at it, so I suppose there is a better way, but I don't know how. When I try to add additional choices, nothing happens, I save, get no errors, but the new choices don't work! I am trying to calculate a due date text field on...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
