juxtaposition of 3 columns

Hi all

I'm having a small problem getting a few things into place on my site.
The problem is this:

http://users.telenet.be/superfot/statik/tmp/index.html

The 2 blocks containing the actual content should be placed next to each
other, but I can't seem to get that to work properly. I tried using
'float: left' for both the block with the extra links and the left
content block, and that got me the desired result at first sight, but it
turned out that the position of the footer was based on the height of
the right content block only, so when that one would be the shortest of
both, the footer would overlap with the first content block, which is
obviously not how I'd want it to be. Can anyone give me a hint on how to
solve this in a more or less elegant way? Thanks very much in advance!

Have you tried applying the "clear" property to the footer?

Now I have, and it has solved my problem, thanks!
