Page not formatting correctly

1 New Member
I am a self-taught web programmer in high school. The language that I am very fluent in is Java since that was what my entire schooling has been with. For whatever reason I cannot get this page to format properly in internet explorer using CSS and HTML even though I believe I am abiding by the W3 rules. Here is the page www.townshipwrestling.com It is a simple site so far but I am hesitant to move to a more complicated design when a simple template does not work. If you want my CSS and HTML code I will gladly upload it. It is coded indirectly with HTML through PHP if that is an issue. I am not using tables, but divisions instead. Thanks for your help.

Your page is not using a doctype. Doctypes are required for all web pages. See the article about doctypes under Howtos HTML and CSS at the top of this page. You will never get IE to pretend to act like other modern browsers without one.

You have several html and css errors, too. Read about validating your web page in the Howtos section, also.
