Problem with upgrading my site

Hi
I have registered a domain and established a site for myself.
But when i upgrade its files with my FTP program , it doesn't upgrade
and
i should do this several times to effect in my site . For example i
delete
index.html file OR upgrade it and when i visit my site it displays the
prior
Index . I deleted temporary files and history in my browser but it
doesn't change.

What should i do?

Thanks

On some systems Index.html is not the same as index.html, and on all systems
index.htm is not the same as index.htm.

On some systems you need to put files in a different folder than the one you
"arrive" in when you log on with FTP, so have a look around.

See if you can download the existing file to your desktop using FTP. Then
change one word, and put it back.

What FTP program are you using? FileZilla is good, and free!

I have some rather large programs written in VB .net. I've been trying to find some information as to if they need to be upgraded to VB .net 2005 and how that would be done. I've been looking on the MS web site, there is some information on upgrading Visual Basic (not .net) to 2005 but not VB .net. Thank you in advance.

Hi, We have a major ASP app that we are in the process of upgrading to ASP.NET 1.1 and probably on to ASP.NET 2.0 in the middle of next year. (We will also be upgrading to SQL2K5 at the same time). The current architecture is heavily based on the client side, both for validation and data access. The asp page is returned and then data is...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
