First browser to pass Acid2

The just released iCab 3.0 is the first browser to both pass[1]
<http://webstandards.org/act/acid2/test.html> and be available[2] to the
public.

Kudos to all 1.25 developers of the iCab team! ;)

It lacks a release date so I can't be certain, but I heard about Konqueror
passing first: http://www.kdedevelopers.org/node/view/1129 (and since the
changes were in CVS when the annoucement was made, it was available to the
public before 0938hrs on Saturday).

Ah, I didn't realise that. If that's the case, Konqueror won by some 36
hours :)

OTOH, earlier versions of iCab 3.0 that passed Acid2 have been available
for a few weeks already, but only to registered users.

Konqueror first? From the link:

"With the help of Hyatt’s Safari patches, Ivor Hewitt(*) and I have
finally made Konqueror pass Acid2 as only the second browser."

It seems that Safari was first.
