Displaying text alongside heading instead of underneath??

I'm using <h1>MY HEADING</h1> to display a title, however I would like to
show one short line of text beside it<p>The short line of text</p>, and then
go back to normal.

Here's an example of how it keeps displaying now:

=============== =======
MY HEADING
The short line of text

Back to normal

=============== =======

Here's how I'd like it to display:

MY HEADING The short line of text

Back to normal

=============== =======

Thanks
John

I'm trying to get some text to lie to the right of an image. If the text is deeper than the image I want the text to continue with its left margin following the line projected down from the right of the image, not to flow underneath the image as with a float:left. I've achieved this with a table at http://alphaworks.co.uk/imagetest/test.html (top and middle image / text pairs) where I've also attempted to achieve it with CSS (bottom image /...

I have a bunch of (old) pages that are outline-driven, and use the h1-h6 elements to define headings. Is there any way that I can create a stylesheet to show them in an indented style? For instance, my HTML is: &lt;html&gt; &lt;body&gt; &lt;h1&gt;Title Page&lt;/h1&gt; Some content, perhaps the intro. &lt;h2&gt;Section 1&lt;/h2&gt;

I've designed a wine inventory tracking & winelist printing program. When entering a wine I always have to place the wine under a heading on the winelist. Usally, a wine ends up under the heading that represernts a variety. chardonny would fall under chardonnay, Merlot under merlot... But in some instances (less then 5%) I want to force a wine into a diferent catagory... say a 5 liter bottle of Merlot I want under a big bottle heading...

As I understand it, the use of FIR* to replace heading tags with images in visually enabled CSS browsers is now frowned upon on the basis that some screen readers will *nor* read back text that is marked up by CSS to be invisible or hidden. So... If I want to replace headings with images (because my client wants to use his specific font for headings where possible), what's the best way to do it?

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
