min-height Attribute in CSS - IE6

hi all,

i'm playing with the layout of a web page and wanted a div to be a certain
height. the min-height attribute seems to have no effect in ie6/xp, but
works fine in opera7/xp.

i'm assuming this is because ie6 is not fully css 2.0 compliant.

has anyone any tips on a good workaround for this so i can make sure the
div is a certain height?

i've thought about using two divs inside a wrapper, the first 1px wide &
the desired height (containing a matching clear gif) and then the original
div next to it, so as to force the solution. i'd like to avoid this route
if at all possible.

any help appreciated :)

s'ok, i found a workaround on a page i missed when googling before. its
now fixed :)
