We are again going to try to do a public beta test of the PHP/MySql
stuff we've been working on. We are looking for all kinds of criticism.
We put a site up here:
http://www.publicpen.com/designer/
On the left you'll see a link that says "login". You can click that to
get to the control panel. Use this username and password to log in:

I've had some fun in the past where I've had to grant a lot of tables and
other similar system commands. Unfortunatly, you can't use queries to fill
in fields for you. Anyway, I've implemented a patch which allows the
following:
grant select on ":2" to ":1"
\for select usename, relname from pg_catalog.pg_user, pg_catalog.pg_class where relname not like 'pg_%';

The way the system works is, you create a user control (ascx) that will be a
template and must implement the interface IPageTemplate. You then create one
or more user controls (ascx) that implement the IPageContent interface. A
page (aspx) must then be created that loads (using Page.LoadControl) the
page template, and the page content. The page content adds itself to the
page template. The page template is then added to the aspx's control...

I am planning a very large project in vb.net and I want to make it modular.
If the project needs 200-300 forms what do you think about creating a user
control for each of these forms? The main program would dynamically load,
place and dispose each one as required.
Is this a good idea from application size, modularity, performance of slower
PC's, etc.
I am also considering creating all modular forms dynamically. The main
program would...

Hi Everybody,
Using the show commands and information_schema tables, I have designed a dashboard for MySQL and that can also be used as a documentor for all MySQL objects. Its been tested only on the Sakila database. I would like some feedback from real databases.

Hi,
When I open my site in a browser and I point the URL to the servers address - it opens and it's fine so the server is working OK (good) but it's opening the main landing page to the default Xampp config page.
www.website.ca/xampp
My problem is I need the site to default to the phpBB board I have installed in the xampp program.
So I need the site to open at: www.website.ca/phpbb/

Hi all. I trust you all are well.
So I just edited a video with free stock footage from Pexels and was wondering if some could give me some advice on how to optimize it for speed.
It is currently 20MB big and is 30 seconds long.
I know that I need to make it a lot smaller but what else can I do?
Thanks in advance.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
