the problem needs more exact explanation on what exactly is not working properly in which browser. 'perfectly arranging' isnt a term that says how it should work since that can be subjective to any person - so explain the issue more and show the code that is involved.

I noticed that that <ul> lists display differently with <br> between <li>s in IE and Mozilla. Does anyone know of a reference that catalogs all of the known types of differences in display between browsers? Or do you all just do multiple tests of all your pages? Thanks in advance for any advice. _________________________________________

We are using a 3rd party help system, and there are some bugs with the CTRL+mousescroll on different browsers. In IE 6+, it seems that text sizes and the boxes do, however in some other browsers, text grows, but boxes don't. check http://67.139.146.254:8055 for an example Thanks for the help!

Greetings everyone. I'm new to the webdevelopment game and I developed my first site that looks good in IE but crappy in Mozilla/Firefox. Any advice on making my site browser to browser compatible? All I know so far is HTML/CSS, so I won't fair well with Javascript solutions or any other scripting language. I'm going to conquer those next.

I am wondering if there is a utility that can launch an entered url in different (installed) browsers? eg. Internet Explorer, Firefix, Opera, Safari

I know that there are different margins in different browsers. I tried the Global Reset and it didn't help. I am a beginner, so I might be doing something wrong and I won't be offended if you criticize me! In my code, I have two panels. One is for images and it is 350 pixels wide on the left side. Let's call it "imagepanel". On the right, I have descriptions of the images. The descriptions are, obviously, text. To separate the text describing...

I'm pretty new to this stuff; all I know is enough CSS and HTML to make a site look good so if you're kind enough to answer, please be kind enough to say something I can understand :) I've looked up :How to make a site look the same in any browser" and everyone says to check your site in different browsers every step of the way. This makes sense. But nobody can say what to do when you find a problem in anything that resembles English. ...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
