Hi All,
Just wondering how you go about changing the value of a session cookie
via javascript?
I have a PHP page that sets a session cookie when it first loads. I'd
like to be able to change the value of that session cookie in response
to a button click in a form, without resubmitting the page.
For some reason, the following doesn't seem to work:

I've struggled with this for a while now, so I'm asking for help. I
am trying to click on a link in one page, have that link open up in a
new window, and set that newly opened window's ifram to a specific
url. Here is the code I'm using:

I'm the webmaster for a recreational organization. As part of one page of the
site, I have an HTML "Calendar at a Glance" of the organization's events for
the month. It's a simple table of a calendar, 7 across by whatever needed
down, and I manually create it each month - not a big deal.
Every day I go in and darken the background color of the current day's cell
by changing the appropriate <TD> entry to <TD bgcolor="c63800"> and...

Hi:
Have a question on making the date automatically filled in by what the
user enters in by the date at the top.
The date entered at the top would most likely be on a Wednesday then I
need to have all the prior dates pop in. Example: User enters 2/9/05
in the date field at the top being a Wednesday...I need the dates at
the bottom to be filled in automatically, respectively as 2/3/05,
2/4/05, 2/5/05, 2/6/05, 2/7/05, 2/8/05, 2/9/05...

I doubt this is possible, but I want to ask, just in case it is.
I have a project going using Google Maps. This project spits out an
HTML page template for people to post to their website and display a
map. Most of the people doing this will have limited knowledge of HTML.
I want to ensure that this page remains an XHTML 1.0 Transitional (or
Strict) page, in case some newbie removes the DOCTYPE or some slightly
more knowledgeable tries...

I have a form that contains two hidden values, among other controls. I was wondering, if I change these values in server script and immediately do a server.transfer, do these values get updated before the page is changed?
I want to say that because the values are changed but the page is never reloaded after the change, that these changes do not take effect before the server.transfer. Please let me know if I am correct here. I think I am...

Let's say I have a column whose values are all 2-digit integers, e.g.
82 (though it's actually a varchar field).
From now on, the column will be able to have 2-digit as well as 3-digit
integers. In the application that uses these values, a value
of the format x0y is considered to be the same as xy.
E.g. values 82 and 802 are considered to be the same, 45 and 405 are
considered to be the same, etc.
Both formats still have to be...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
